Peach 20/20 is a game-changing pillar brand in the hospitality and out-of-home industries, with a year-round programme of content and events for senior level executives and entrepreneurs.
Having launched over 20 years ago by Peter Martin, one of the most authoritative and influential communicators and community-builders in the eating and drinking out sector, in 2021 the Peach 20/20 brand underwent a reboot – revitalising its content, reframing its messaging and refreshing its year-round programme of events. The aim was to meet the demands of the new hospitality business landscape AND to serve its community across both in-person events (as it had done for many years) and across the new virtual channels.
In September 2021, the Peach 20/20 Atlantic Club reconnected in person, returning to London for a two-day tour to understand how the UK’s capital had changed and meet with businesses who were changing the hospitality game in the city.
Peach 20/20’s Atlantic Club events are intimate occasions attracting around 30-40 of the most senior professionals in the out- of-home sector. Its ‘tour’ style format gives guests the opportunity to explore a city over three days visiting multiple venues and destinations throughout the day.
The event’s marketing team wanted a more ‘citizen journalist’ approach to capturing the event across the city, in contrast to the traditional videography model. The organisers asked Streeem to film the event in a way that would go almost unnoticed by its attendees, blending in as guests at the event and needed a solution that could easily move from location to location rather than ‘crew’ with bulky and intrusive kit.
The event was high energy and the filming needed to reflect the dynamic atmosphere at the event, capturing the experience of the attendees in a relaxed and natural format.
The flagship Peach 20/20 conference and Hero Icon Awards dinner is hospitality’s most influential event.
On a larger scale to the Atlantic Club, the event in 2021 saw 300 of the UK’s most prominent industry executives and entrepreneurs gather to set the agenda for the future of the hospitality industry.
Using handheld iPhone videography, the Streeem team was able to move easily around the venues and amongst the guests at both events. The nature of the technology allowed the team to blend into the events without disturbing the natural flow of conversations or the good-humoured atmosphere on both occasions.
Guests were able to enjoy networking with their peers, mingling and sampling food without feeling disturbed or self-conscious.
The result for Peach 20/20 is several highly engaging and fast-paced films that reflect the colour and buzz of the events, as well as the value the attendees gained from being there in person. The videos will be key mediums in helping attract audiences to their 2022 event programmes and provide valuable content for the Peach 20/20 website, social media channels and Youtube channels.
